New York NY – November 15, 2020: Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) has selected the winners of its 57TH ANNIVERSARY AMERICAN GRAPHIC DESIGN AWARDS™. These awards honor the best graphic design work of the year in categories across all media –  including  print and collateral, branding and  packaging, advertising and sales  promotion, direct mail and direct response, magazines and books, broadcast and video, internet and interactive, infographics and social media.


For nearly six decades, GDUSA has sponsored design competitions that spotlight areas of excellence and opportunity for creative professionals. The AMERICAN GRAPHIC DESIGN AWARDS™ is the flagship competition, and is open to everyone in the community – graphic design firms, advertising agencies, inhouse corporate and institutional designers, publishers and other media, freelancers and students. This year, we received just over 10,000 entries; a very selective 10 percent were selected as winners and received an embossed Certificate of Excellence.


“Graphic design remain s among the fastest growing professions in this country” said GDUSA Editor Gordon Kaye, “with its importance increasingly recognized in commerce, culture and causes. That has never been more true than in the challenging year of 2020, when designers have stepped up to create effective communications around health and safety, politics, social justice, a changing workplace – all the while continuing to champion client products, services, and brands.”

The 2020 GDUSA DESIGN ANNUAL, an awards showcase, will be published in late December in print and digital and web editions. Sponsor of the 2020 competition is Verso Corporation (http://versoco.com), a leading supplier of high quality printing papers to the graphic arts market.
